With a dedicated culinary team trained to cook delicious specials and menu staples and a wait staff ready to assist with whatever our residents’ need, dining out in our community is a relaxing way to enjoy retirement. Riddle Village has four unique restaurant venues, which means there is something for everyone no matter what you are in the mood for!
From casual to formal, there is a restaurant at Riddle Village for every occasion. The Governour’s Inne is Riddle Village’s full-service dining venue. With elegant décor, friendly wait staff, and large tables this is an ideal spot for friends, family, and fellow residents to gather for a meal. The Chesapeake Room is a relaxed buffet style dining option with new menu options daily to showcase delicious chef specials. Recent renovations created easier access to the culinary team, which means not only does our dining team serve food in the buffet line but they can also discuss the food options and answer questions. The Garden Terrace Café, located overlooking our courtyard is perfect for a relaxing breakfast or a quick lunch. No matter which venue you choose, the dining experience at Riddle Village accommodates our residents’ busy schedules, and we offer take-out options for those who are simply looking for a relaxing evening at home.
Exciting changes are on the horizon for our fourth dining venue, the Thoroughbred Lounge. This cocktail bar will be expanded to include additional seating, a larger bar and a new menu. With giant windows and double door access to the courtyard, this restaurant will feature the best views Riddle Village has to offer and a fun, relaxing place to meet friends.
It isn’t just the luxurious and convenient venues that make dining out at Riddle Village so special – it’s the delicious and nutritious food options that are available! We are happy to offer healthy choices that align with special dietary needs. Each day there are soy free, gluten free, sugar free, and heart healthy options included on every menu. From entrees to desserts, there is something on the menu for everyone!
After learning about the different restaurants and menu items available to our residents and their guests, it is important to understand the fantastic meal plan Riddle Village offers. Our residents receive a set amount of money to be used for meals each month, known as our Flex Dollar Dining Plan. The Flex Dollars can be used in any dining venue for any meal (including breakfast, lunch and dinner), appetizers, “upgrades on meals” and beverages (including alcohol). These Flex Dollars can even be used to purchase meals for guests!
