The many options available to Riddle Village Residents are one of the many aspects of community life that makes us such a great place to call home. From evening entertainment, diverse community amenities, and an array of clubs to join, there is never a dull day at Riddle Village. No matter what your hobbies and interests are, we are confident you will have no problem finding joy and excitement in retirement at Riddle Village.

We understand that everyone is unique, and we strive to support our residents in living life the way they envision. That is why our activities calendar is built around options. Whether you are interested in music, sports, or maybe quiet time in the library, you can live how you want to at Riddle Village.

“It is important to have a variety of different options in our community everyday because some residents may not be interested in doing the same things on a daily basis that other residents may, “Maria Smith, Activities Supervisor, said. “If we have options, it gives the residents a choice. They may like to try something new and meet new friends.”

How to Get Involved in Our Village Retirement Community

There are plenty of ways to get involved in the community and meet new people. From joining or even forming groups, such as the choir or computer club, to signing up for a program in which you are the main event! Our residents love organizing entertainment of their own, such as talent shows, plays, and presentations. Our residents have taken center stage by participating in programs like February Frolic that included skits and audience interaction, the Newlywed Game where couples signed up to answer trivia questions about each other onstage for a creative Valentine’s Day celebration, and several resident productions put together by the Riddle Village Non-Traveling Theater Troupe!

If being the star of the show or leading the group isn’t your style, other activities are perfect for our residents who may just be looking to learn something new or explore the community. Every day in the Town Hall you can find a program, whether it is an outside speaker or a musical performance. Stop by for anything that sparks your interest! Most Towne Hall programs don’t require any kind of sign up or commitment; you can simply peruse the weekly activity gram and see what you are interested in checking out each day. Other areas in the community that can be great for individual activities include working on a project in the woodshop, practicing your putting on the courtyard, or taking a relaxing stroll by the koi pond.

Pair Up for Residential Activities

Speaking of the courtyard, there are also plenty of opportunities to join a team for some friendly competition. Group activity can be a great way to socialize and also a fun way to get moving. During the warmer months, you can expect to find bocce ball or putting tournaments, whether it is a twosome, foursome, or even a larger team of residents representing their residential apartment building. You may also find some fun tournaments to take part in the game room, where billiards and table shuffleboard are open to all our residents!

Riddle Village residents enjoy living everyday their way. Everyone in our village retirement community can do as much or as little as they choose. There is comfort in knowing that no two days are exactly the same, and there are always options for the day so you never have to worry about feeling bored. It is always a good day to get out and have some fun at Riddle Village!
