2. Indoor Pool

Who says swimming is only a summertime activity? The indoor, heated pool at Riddle Village is a popular spot for aquacise classes with your friends or even just to swim laps at your own pace. Since swimming is not a weight-bearing exercise, it is ideal for seniors who may suffer from arthritis or osteoporosis. Other benefits, like strengthening muscles and increasing flexibility, are proven ways to lessen your risk of falls. To relax after your workout or to soothe sore muscles, our hot tub is the perfect spot to give your body the break it deserves.

3. Exercise Classes

Imagine waking up and getting to choose to start your day with classes like yoga or line dancing without ever needing to get in your car. At Riddle Village, instructor-led classes are a fun and unique way to work up a sweat and stay active indoors. Classes offered do not require any sign-up or commitment. We always encourage residents to check in with their doctor or the Riddle Village Fitness Coordinator, Mary, before starting any new class. According to Mary, all classes are offered on a “do what you can, edit where you need to” basis and are meant to be as challenging as needed. All within an indoor walking distance of your apartment.
