Each Friday of the month, employees who purchased a t-shirt have the opportunity to wear it with jeans and can participate in other fun activities all month, such as brain games and a community walk. Associates can also sign up to join the Riddle Village team as we participate in the local Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s every fall. #### Employee Appreciation Day Every December, the Riddle Village community comes together to thank our employees for all of their hard work. Employees can wear jeans, enjoy a catered lunch, and fill up a goodie bag from the candy bar. In the Towne Hall, residents join us for a special ceremony in which each department is honored and applauded for their dedication to Riddle Village. #### Children’s Easter Egg Hunt Associates are invited to bring their children or grandchildren to the Village for an Egg Hunt each Spring. Not only does Peter Cottontail visit for the event, but various activities are offered, like face painting, balloon creations and more! #### Seasonal Contests From pumpkin carving to bake offs, there are plenty of fun ways for employees to participate in friendly competition throughout the year. Residents always enjoy watching staff get in the spirit, and they can even join in on the fun by helping decide on the winners. #### Water Ice and Pretzel Days On a few special days every summer, a local water ice truck pulls up to Riddle Village to offer our hard working staff a complementary cool treat. Multiple flavors of water ice and pretzels with different toppings make this day an exciting delight every time! #### Healthy Living Challenge Raffle Most of the employees at Riddle Village have the option to enroll in the Healthy Living Challenge, a voluntary program where participants earn points for making healthy choices (i.e. getting a physical or preventative screening, working out at a gym, eating healthy in our café, etc.). These points are converted into raffle tickets and the employees can submit these tickets for a chance to win great prizes at the year-end event in December.
