Exploring Your Personal Heritage

If you haven't yet explored your ancestory, a potentially exciting world awaits you!  Join us for this fun and informative presentation as our own resident Carl Morse shares how you can get started on the search for your family heritage, as well as some online and other resources available to aid in your search.  You'll hear facinating details of Carl's journey as he traced his own ancestors -- some as far back as the 16th century!

An afternoon of Antiques

Featuring The Discovery Channel's Star Appraiser

Dr. Lori

Dr. Lori, star of The Discovery Channel's Auction Kings, is a certified art and antiques appraiser with a Ph.D. in art history from Pennsylvania State University.  Her syndicated column appears in over 400 newspapers and she's written over 30 books.  And now... she's coming to Riddle Village!!

In the course of viewing and appraising more than 20,000 items a year, Dr. Lori has found amazing treasure -- sculptures, paintings, sports collections, antique toys -- you name it! As Dr. Lori says, "America has the stuff!"

Who knows what treasure might be revealed at Riddle Village.  Your invited to bring an object to be considered for appraisal during this exciting event.* Appraisal items will be on display at 1:00 pm, followed by Dr. Lori's presenation at 2:00 pm.

* Please limit items to one per person and the number of appraisals Dr. Lori will do is limited as well.  Item must be of a size that is easily carried by you and can sit on a table.  Riddle Village is not liable for any damages to items. Dr. Lori does not buy or sell objects; her appraisals are based on actual selling prices of comparable items.

Refreshments will be served and complimentary valet parking is provided.  Space is extremely limited, so please RSVP today!
