Philosophy
It
is the philosophy of Riddle Village to enhance the lives of residents in all
levels of care by providing a balance in meeting their physical, emotional,
social and spiritual needs. The Village extends the horizons of life care for
older people in a holistic approach rather than acute events, with social interaction
and financial security. Resident freedom, individual independence, privacy and
personal rights are basic principles of this philosophy.
Riddle Village management, staff and residents
are partners in a community whose objective is the continued enhancement of
the quality of life for all those residing in the community. Each level of care
shall receive equal priority, which is reflected in all aspects of Riddle Village
today in funding, management, buildings, staff and marketing. The Village aims
to be cost effective and fair to all residents while providing high quality
care for the life of each resident.
This health and wellness philosophy has grown out of the vision of a local life
care community that would match the strengths of local medical resources to
the late life needs of people in Delaware County
